My 2020's Achievements: Summarizing My 2020 in 7 Minutes for You
Hey!! So we are at the phase where we have completed another year of our life. You may have achieved so much, You may have practised so many things in 2020. You even got so much of time in 2020 due to pandemic.
People often share their new year resolution when new years come. But they never talk about their achievement of previous years. So that's why I am writing this post to tell you about my 2020’s Achievements.
So Before, Talking about my achievements, I want to tell you, How I got the idea to write this post.
I got this post Idea when I was just chatting with my close friends Aman. We were just sharing about our achievements in 2020, So I was thinking If I am a blogger so I should share it with the Medium family & Internet world too.
What I will get when I will share my achievements on the internet.
👏 It will just increase my confidence, And this will make me more accountable about my skills and achievements.
You should also share your achievements, There is the reason why don’t share about my future plans. There is Theory on the Internet that If you share about your plans then you never gonna complete them.
Wait…Wait…Wait!
I want to tell all those people who keep asking me, “where I am busy”. I was busy with all these things.
My 2020’s Achievements
There is not so long list but definitely, List worth for me. I worked hard, spent hours and hours in learning the skills. I have given so long hours in the skills I will list below.
1. Improved My Typing Speed ( Above 65+ Words Per Minutes )
Yes, I can type at that speed. I am trying to improve a lot so that at least I can reach up to 100 wpm. This is not impossible because it has been already achieved by so many people.
I saw so many youtube videos. Some YouTuber has reached above 150+ wpm. Though some even has crossed 200 above I don’t know them so I want to tell you.
I have spent 40+ Hours for learning touch typing. It has helped me in reaching at least 65+ wpm. I am not joking I have attached an image below, you can verify it.
Little things I am adding of Jan 2, 2021: This is my latest score in 10fastfingers.com so I am just attaching the score so that you can see it. I will be updating next score after crossing 90+
2. Learned to Use Photoshop & Illustration (Graphic Design)
They are the skills which I dreamed of but can’t achieve due to lack of good specs laptop but in 2020, I have purchased the laptop that has good specs. Yes, Now I know how to use them and create good graphic designs.
I used these skills a lot to create so many good thumbnails and graphics designs to use in my projects. I have a few other plans to learn other adobe product in future, I may reveal them next year.
Not only I learned to use this software but I have also learned graphic designs theories that help me to design good visuals.
3. Reached 4 Figure Income in Us $ / Months ( $$$$ )
As I said in my about section that I am SEO Guys and doing blogging for years. Yes, that Blogging made me that money.
One of my websites got a good position in the search engine. It was a micro niche blog and that made me a good amount of money in a month.
This is something that I am learning since I was in class 8 ( even before). I don’t want to attach a screenshot so I am not adding it.
4. Learn to Play the Guitar ( Basic Level )
Playing the guitar is something that I want to do for a long time. So this year due to pandemic I got so much of time that I learned the guitar so that I can play at least basics.
I have not joined any offline classes as I told I learned it during the pandemic. I have learned it on Youtube.
Yes, You can also learn it on youtube. You can up to basics or Intermediate level on Youtube. The only thing you need is Good Internet + Laptop ( Or any device ) + Guitar + Consistency + Hardwork
5. Magic Tricks ( Able to Catch Close Up Magicians )
Haha, You may think this is stupid skills. But No until I can trick you. I have just given my little extra time in learning this magic trick skills. Trust me tricks I can so you are not simple magic tricks but they require hard work to learn it.
Summarizing Everything!
So These are the things which I have learned in 2020, I am still focusing on acquiring more skills than anything. I am trying to strengthen my old skills and learning a few more skills.
I just wanted to share this so I feel good nothing else, I don’t want to prove anything to anybody. I would have shared this in my personal blog but I find medium a very good platform for this.
My Last Words of 2020
Experience makes me more perfect than learning, You will able to know more and enhance more when you experience it.
Though everyone was suffering in 2020 due to pandemic, I don’t want to make my year look like waste so I tried achieving as much as I can.
